Today was more interesting than usual as the people of America chose to speak through the medium of the electoral process and I like to listen to the mind of the people. I don't always agree but It widens my perspective. Many times the people who win are not the people I would expect or the people I have chosen. I get to find out why people feel differently and that is cool.

If it wasn't already obvious, I think the Internet is a fantastic way to express yourself. And Internet search engines that search through the blogs of the people are a great way to meet people on the basis of what the think to say.

I express myself daily about technical issues in my personal blog site http://www.goodall.com and if you are interested in what is happening in the areas of computers, programming and the Internet you might find my postings interesting, or at least I hope so.

I am always learning something new about software or the Internet and I post my daily discoveries. I like Apple Macs better than PCs and I also like Unix/Linux. I write in c/c++ but not Visual Basic. I don't really like Microsoft. I am learning Python.

I like sharing my computer knowledge with others and I think I have a knack for teaching. If there is something about computers you wish you understood better, have a dialog with me at any level and lets see if we can connect on that subject.

Be well,
Doug
